YG Entertainment will launch an open audition to discover the next generation of rookies who will continue the genealogy of Big Bang, Black Pink, WINNER, iKON and TREASURE.

YG Entertainment announced that it will hold the 2023 YG National Audition Tour from January 7 to February 12 next year. This public audition will be held face-to-face for the first time in four years since 2019.

Starting with Daejeon, YG will hold its sixth audition in five major cities across the country, including Daegu, Gwangju, Busan, and Seoul.

The recruitment targets are domestic teenagers born in 2004 to 2012, regardless of gender and nationality. However, it is limited to those who have no contractual relationship, such as the agency, and applicants can choose one of the areas they are most confident in among vocals, rap, dance, and visuals.
