BLACKPINK became the first K-pop girl group to win two awards at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards, Europe's largest music awards.

BLACKPINK won the "Best Metaverse Performance" award at the 2022 MTV EMA held at PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany on the 13th (local time).

It is another significant achievement made with the in-game concert "The Virtual" held in August. Earlier, BLACKPINK also won a trophy in the category at the 2022 MTV VMAs in the U.S.
