BTS will perform at the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in New York/New Jersey this July. It marks the first halftime show in FIFA World Cup final history, with Madonna and Shakira also joining as co-headliners.

BTS said they are honored to share a message of hope and unity through music, adding that the performance will support a global education campaign for children.

The announcement drew major attention after the members recently spoke in interviews about their dream of performing a Super Bowl-style halftime show someday.

Jungkook previously performed at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Qatar World Cup and sang the official soundtrack “Dreamers”, strengthening BTS’ connection with FIFA events.

BTS recently released their sixth full-length album “ARIRANG” and are continuing their world tour, further expanding their global influence.
