The horror film Salmokji, directed by Lee Sang-min, is set to meet audiences with its release on April 8.

The director explained that the film originates not from urban legends, but from the shamanistic meaning of the place name “Salmok”

Based on a real reservoir in Yesan, Chungcheongnam-do, the story incorporates eerie elements such as navigation systems leading drivers into the water.

The plot follows a road-view filming crew entering the mysterious site and encountering strange events.

Using fog, stone towers, and vehicles, the film portrays psychological horror where reality and illusion intertwine.
