‘Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight’ Korean and Japanese Versions Screen Side by Side.

Two films based on a novel by Japanese author Ichijo Misaki are being released in theaters at the same time.

The Korean film Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight, starring Choo Young-woo and Cynthia, has surpassed 800,000 admissions, achieving box-office success.

The Japanese film of the same title, which drew 1.22 million viewers upon its original release in 2022, is set to be re-released on January 28.

During its initial run, the Japanese version recorded more than 30% of its audience in the teenage demographic, enjoying a box-office run of nearly three months driven by strong Gen Z support.

As a result, moviegoers will be able to watch two films with the same title but from different countries side by side in theaters next week.
