(G)I-DLE’s Yuqi has unveiled the music video for “It Hurts”, a track from her first single album Motivation, ahead of its release.

The music video unfolds like a short film, portraying the happiness, conflict, and heartbreak of a relationship, and conveying deep, emotional resonance.

Written and composed by Yuqi herself, the song combines a minimal band sound with guitar riffs and lyrical lines such as “It hurts, but it’s okay”, capturing the raw honesty of parting ways.

The single album includes three tracks: the title song “M.O”, “It Hurts,” and the Chinese version “还痛吗 (Hai Tong Ma)”, and will be officially released on September 16 at 6 p.m. (KST).
