WJSN’s Dayoung will release her first solo digital single, “gonna love me, right?”, on September 9, marking her debut as a solo artist nine years after her group debut.

Her agency, Starship Entertainment, described the project as “the beginning of a new challenge” raising expectations.

The teaser video revealed a silhouette performance in the dark, along with the track “body”, catching fans’ attention.

Dayoung was also introduced as the “Next Week” artist on Mnet’s “M Countdown”, signaling the start of her solo activities.

The new single will be released worldwide on major music platforms at 6 p.m. KST on September 9.
