The Netflix animation K-Pop Demon Hunters OST “Golden” has reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

Billboard reported on the 11th that “Golden” climbed one spot from the previous week, recording 31.7 million streams, 8.4 million radio impressions, and 7,000 sales.

It marks the first time a song by a K-pop female artist has topped the Hot 100; previous K-pop No. 1 hits were six BTS tracks and solo songs by Jimin and Jungkook.

The track is performed by the virtual girl group “Huntrix,” featuring Korean-American artists Jae Lee, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami.

Earlier, on the 1st, “Golden” also topped the UK Official Singles Chart, achieving the rare feat of conquering both of the world’s two major music charts.
