BLACKPINK’s Rosé set a new milestone for K-pop female artists by reaching No. 5 on Billboard’s main singles chart, the ‘Hot 100,’ with her collaboration “APT” featuring American pop star Bruno Mars.

Released in October last year, the song surged 29 spots from No. 34 after the Christmas season ended, making a strong rebound on the chart.
This marks Rosé’s highest personal ranking and the first time a K-pop female artist has entered the top 5 on the ‘Hot 100.’
On social media, Rosé shared, “2024 has been the toughest yet most rewarding year. I achieved dreams I’ve always had and met incredible friends who made this journey a blessing.”
BLACKPINK previously charted at No. 13 with “Ice Cream.” The success of “APT” is being hailed as a groundbreaking moment for K-pop female artists.
