Deaf idol group Big Ocean was selected as the "K-Pop Rookie of the Month" by Billboard in the U.S. in September 2024. 

Billboard said their music and messages represent the variety of K-pop. 

Big Ocean sent a positive message with its recently announced 'SLOW (Feat. Young K (DAY6)' and expressed its appreciation for the support. 

The song was produced to cheer for athletes participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics. 

Big Ocean, which consists of three deaf people, debuted on April 20 on the music scene with a remake of the hit song 'Light' from the group 'HOT' on Disabled Day.
